LITTLE ‘BOY’S LIFE SAVED
PROMPT ACTION OF CUSTODIAN.
CHILD’S FALL INTO THE SEA.
By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The prompt action of the custodian of Williams Park, Mr. W. Dick, saved the fife .of a little boy, David List, who overbalanced while playing on the wharf at Day’s Bay. The boy’s plight was apt. parently unnoticed by the crowd on the ' beach, but the boy’s cries were heard j by Mr. Dick, who ran down to the wharf and jumped in the water. The boy was unconscious when he was brought ashore, but Mr. Dick successfully applied resuscitative measures.
