PERMANENT GRAND OPERA
SIR BENJAMIN FULLER’S PLANS.
MELBOURNE OPENING SEPTEMBER.

Auckland, June 2.
Sir Benjamin Fuller, who passed through Auckland to-day by the Mariposa, intends to complete arrangements in London for the organisation of a permanent grand opera in Australia and New Zealand. He said the operas would be presented in English and he expected the season would be opened at Melbourne in September. Sir James intends to return in three months, and on the way back proposes to fly over the Atlantic to South America.
