UNIVERSITY HOCKEY DECIDED
CANTERBURY MEN THE WINNERS.

Canterbury won the Seddon stick, the trophy for the university hockey tournament, by beating Otago by two goals to one in the final in a downpour on Saturday. The women’s final for the Reeves stick was won by Otago which beat Wellington by four goals to one. Victoria College men beat Auckland by six goals to one, but the Canterbury and Auckland women did not play for the wooden spoon because of the wet weather.
