GENERAL AND PERSONAL. Mrs. Willan has returned from Pungarchu, where she has been the guest of Mrs. S. Downs. Mr. R. J. Bell is at present spending a holiday in the south. Mr. Geo. Goodwin ,who has been a patient at Mew Plymouth hospital, has now returned home. Considerable improvements are at present being made to the school grounds. The front portion of the grounds has been cleaned up and planted in shrubs and an attempt is being made to level the back portion of the grounds in order to provide a playing area for the children. A working bee was held on Thursday, when much work was done.
