B MATCH AT NEW PLYMOUTH. COUNTRY TEAMS’ CURTAIN-RAISER What promises to be an exciting match will be played at Pukekura Park, New Plymouth, this afternoon, when Taranaki’s B representatives will battle with Wanganui’s second team. The A teams will be playing at Wanganui, but the strength of both the B teams is so little below that of the A’s that there is no great fall in status. The Taranaki B back line will be watched with particular interest, for several of the members are expected to take their place in the A side later in the season. Taranaki’s A team is as selected.
