MEAN RAINFALL BELOW AVERAGE. The rainfall at Inglewood for May totalled 4.79 inches on 14 days with the maximum fall, ,92in, on May 3. For the corresponding month of last year 14.38 inches fell on 20 days. During this month there was one fall cf over four inches, one fall over two inches and three falls over one inch. The wettest May experienced was i.i 1926 when 16.94 inches fell on 24 days, while the minimum fall for May was in 1931 when 2.97 in fell on 12 days. The average fall for May is 8.5. At Riversdale the rainfall totalled 5.82 inches on 17 days, while last year 15.21 inches fell on 24 days. The average fall for May is 9.94 in and the maximum 28.26 in in 1903 and the minimum 3.71 in in 1919.
