KENT ROAD-KORITO NEWS
EUCHRE PARTY AND DANCE. The first of a series of euchre parties and dances was held in Korito school on April 20 for the school funds. Winners of euchre prizes were Mrs. C. Weston and Mrs. C. Keast, and Mr. B. Herbert and Mr. E. Keast. After supper dancing occupied the remainder of the evening. Mr. R. Weston was master of ceremonies and Miss Snell. played the piano. Extras were played by Misses Lewis and D. Snell. A Monte Carlo dance was won by Miss B. Weston and partner. Personal. Miss G. Reader is visiting Hawke’s Bay. Messrs. G. Parker and W. Ashman are spending a holiday in the Auckland province. Mr. J. Stokoe has left for Napier.
