BIG RANDWICK EVENTS

THE DONCASTER HANDICAP ROGILLA’S bright prospects. SILVER SCORN IN THE LIMELIGHT. The big Easter meeting of the Australian Jockey Club will open at Randwick to-day. There are not as many New Zealand-owned. horses as usual competing, Peter Jackson, Limarch and Golden Wings being the only ones. However, there are many who were bred in the Dominion, and their performances will be followed with interest. The principal event is the Doncaster Handicap, run over one mile. In view of his recent wins over six furlong Rogilla is. warmly fancied. New Zealand hopes rest with Golden Wings, and though nothing much has been heard of him lately he will not.be disgraced. Silver Scorn after her brilliant win at Warwick Farm is likely to receive a lot of attention in the Autumn Stakes. Dangerbus opponents may prove to be Peter Pan and Lough Neagh. Following are the final acceptors:—
