U.S.A. RELIEF ALLOCATION. PRESIDENTS ANSWER TO DEMANDS. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright Rec. 6.30 p.m. Washington, Jan. 27. Answering widespread demands that Federal unemployment relief be continued, President Roosevelt has requested Congress to appropriate 950,000,000 dollars for such purposes as making possible the continuance of Civil Works Administration projects after May 1, 1934, when they have been scheduled to end.
