THIEVES TEST GOLD
ABOUT £3OO WORTH TAKEN.
Thieves broke into the workshop. of a manufacturing jeweller in a factory at South Melbourne recently, and stole sheet gold valued at approximately £3OO. They are believed to have tested the sheets with nitric acid before. they removed them.
