SOCIAL AND GENERAL. As a conclusion to the Kofito school committee’s euchre parties for this season a long night dance was held at the school on Friday evening. There was a good attendance. Opportunity was taken of presenting the points prizes for euchre to Miss Joyce Herbert and Mr. T. Snell. Miss W. Snell supplied dance music and extras were played by Mrs. Lilly, and Mr. W. Ashman. Monte Carlo waltzes were won by Miss G. Peter and Mr. J. Balsom, Mr. B. Herbert and Miss E. Herbert and a statue waltz was won by Miss L. Ashman and Mr. J. Weir. Mrs. C. Lilley, Opunake, spent the week-end with her parents at Korito. Miss E. Rogers, Wellington, has been staying with Mr. and Mrs; Rogers, Junction Road.
Mr. and Mrs. Rowlands have taken up residence at Mangamahoe.
