QUOTA ON FISH SUPPLIES
FOREIGN IMPORTS RESTRICTED.
ORDER MADE IN BRITAIN.
British Wireless. Augby, Aug. 16.' An order for the regulation of foreign fish landed in the United Kingdom has been made by the Board of Trade under the Sea Fishing Industry Act, 1933. Under the order quotas are allotted to foreign countries and a license will be required to land fish other than fish brought direct to the United Kingdom by fishing vessels registered in the British Empire. Fish from any Dominion will not be liable to the quota, but a license will be required for fish sent as cargo from a Dominion although not for direct landings from Dominion fishing boats.
