PETROL THROWN ON FIRE
OAMARU BOY INJURED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Oamaru, Last Night. Through throwing petrol on an apparently dead fire with a view to rekindling it Allen Dickson, aged 11 years, received severe burns on the arnis and face. The petrol ignited in the tin, the exploding flames enveloping the lad. Immediately he was removed to the public hospital suffering from shock and burns. His condition is serious.
