Practically all the city unemployed relief jobs men' were manned at full strength to-day, an authoritative source saying that not more than .20 men refused duty. On behalf, of. the National Union .of Unemployed it was stated that informa- j tion had been received from the Auckland association to the effect that the strike was a fiasco and that all the men were at work. .
