BASKETBALL IN TARANAKI
PROGRESS OF COMPETITIONS. HAWERA OLD GIRLS A IN LEAD. Hawera Old Girls A has a four-point lead in the southern division senior competition of the Taranaki Basbetball Association. Matches at New Plymouth on Saturday were postponed on account of the bad weather. Results pf last week’s games are:— Midhirst 11 defeated Kaimata 5. Inglewood 18 defeated Raleigh 6.
