OAONUI DISTRICT NEWS
The fortnightly euchre party held on Monday evening in aid of the Oaonui hall funds was well attended. Mrs. McCullum and Miss E. Gilhooly, 9J games, tied for the ladies’ first prize, Mrs. McCullum winning the play-off. The men’s prizes were won by Mr. J. Young, 10 J games, and Mr. L. Green, 10 games, 2. Supper was served by the hall committee ladies. A dance followed. Music was supplied by Miss Gilhooly. Personal Items. Mr. and Mrs. G. Rasmussen and family returned last week after a tour of the Hawke’s Bay. district. Mr. Arthur Harrop, who has been in the New Plymouth public hospital, has returned home. Mr. W.
