SCHNEIDER SHIELD GAME
RATAPIKO WINS COMFORTABLY. Ratapiko defeated Purangi at Purangi on. Saturday in a Schneider Shield game by 12 points to 3., Despite drizzling rain there were- bright patches of back play. R. Clough, R. Therkleson, F. Hill and J. Duncan scored tries for Ratapiko, none of which was'- converted. For Tarata Turner kicked a fine penalty goal. Mr. Frank . Julian : refereed. The Ratapiko team was entertained at afternoon tea in the Purangi hall, for which Mr. F. Hill returned thanks, Mr.- D. Patterson responding for Tarata.
The Ratapikb club has entered two teams in the 10-a-side tournament to be held at Inglewood next Saturday.
