HUNTING IN ROUGH WEATHER. Despite the inclement weather on Saturday, a cold wind with a misty ram making conditions unpleasant, there was a fair number of enthusiastic members of the Taranaki Hunt Club at the meet at i the kennels, Motunui, on Saturday. Enjoyable sport resulted, several hares giving exhilarating runs though there were no kills. Soon after the throw-off a hare on Mr J. B. Mabin’s property led a merry chase into. Mr. J. Graham’s, thence doubling back into Mr. J. B. Mabms property and through Mr. A. Cole’s property, where it was lost in prohibited country. A second hare led the pack over Practically the same route. a short chase a third hare from Mr. J. B. Mabins property, was. lost in a swamp on the adjoining property.
