MERMAID’S BRIGHT LIGHT.
MR. J. HOULAHAN’S ENTRY. Mermaid’s Bright Light, born August, 1925, is the only entry by Mr. J. Houlahan, Spotswood. She is a good cow which under G.O.H.T. produced 5111 b fat in 289 days. She has good, type progeny, as is shown by the fact that a junior .two-year-old recorded 4061 b fat in 277 days, and a three-year-old daughter under C.O.R. gave 5241 b fat in . 310 days. Mermaid’s Bright Light is a great grand-daughter to Grannie’s Merry General, a son of Molina’s. General (imp.). Mr. Houlahan is well known to Taranaki breeders, and although his herd. is at present a small one, what he offers is good.
