WELL WORTHERS.

MR-. MANDER’S FOUR HEIFERS.

A judge would be hard put to decide the best of the four roomy young producers that Mr. A. T. Mander, of the Wellworth Stud, Cardiff, is submitting for approval. He expects big. things. of these four, and bidding should be brisk when lots 56 to 59 are paraded. They were inspected yesterday, and a more agreeable sight ih Jerseys would. be difficult to conceive. Each is sired by Pukatea Nobleman, a grandson of the Royal Champion Miro Meadow’s Maori Boy. Two are due to a great dairy type bull, Wellworth Mascot, and the other two to Prideland’s Golden Laddie. In the pedigree of Wellworth Roseniary .runs the blood of animals that have distinguished' themselves in noted studs of the Dominion. She will be. the first offered. Then will come Wellworth Snowdrop, a beautiful heifer out of the same family as Madam Mayflower, for many years champion Jersey cow of. the Southern Hemisphere (C.O.R. 7361 b fat). Tne third is Wellworth Daffodil whose dam was sired by Wairere Butter Boy (three nearest dams average 6501 b fat). fourth, Wellworth Heather, -will sell on appearances alone. Mr. - Mander does not intend to bring any: animal home again. They are there’to be-sold.
