A TE TAWA HEIFER.
THE ONLY ENTRY. The only entry of Mrs. 'C. S. McD. Adnams in the National sale is the rising yearling Concentrate Alpha. Although bom only last November, this yearling has already given very definite signs of. becoming a good typey cow and a good producer. In the last New Plymouth show, when four months old, she won two second prizes in open junior competition against many heifers several months older. She is of beautiful and true lines, and is bred to Royal blood. Her dam is Peep o’Day Heather (3001 b fat in 239 days as a two-year-old/Association test) , and her sire Mentone Concentrate, which won second prize as junior yearling at Stratford in 1931. His four nearest dams average 9871 b fat, and his first progeny show wonderful promise in keeping with his splendid breeding. ’
