FROM THE HILL TOP STUD.
MR. UHLENBERG’S ROYAL PAIR. The. first offerings of an ambitious catalogue are often supposed to go cheapest, but buyers at the National Jersey Sale should have no hesitation inentering into free competition for the two great Hill Top heifers, the property of Mr. A. Uhlenberg, of Waipuku, which figure as Nos. 1 and 2 in the catalogue. When it is stated that both were sired by a son of Sybil Volunteer (imp.), the Royal Show • champion and National champion of-1932, as well as winner of many other championships, breeders will realise that the very finest Jersey quality is right before them in the ring. The dam of Lot 1, Hill Top Dream, has an array of illustrious ancestors to guarantee her pre-eminence as a producer, while Hill Top Gaiety, the dam of Lot 2, is a daughter of Golden. Berbery, the grand-daughter of the sire of Sultan’s Daisy C.O.SL 968 lbs. fat., and grand sire of Pretty’s Flirt C.O.R. 1010 lbs. fat. Both offerings are due to Hill Top Master, a bull from whom Mr. Uhlenberg, from his great experience with pedigree Jerseys, expects fine results.
