DAM & DAUGHTER FROM BROOKLEY Apart from proving her capabilities by producing the fine record of 4721 b fat at the age of one year 315 days Brookley Curley, a handsome young matron to be sold on behalf of Mr. W. Johnson, Ngaere, the widely known owner of the Brookley Stud, has distinguished herself in the show ring. She took first prize as a novice at Stratford in 1930, third in open competition in 1931, and, last year, carried off two first prizes in C.O.R. classes. That shows what experienced judges think of her. There is no question that she is a wonderful dairy cow, and a perusal of Lot 52 in the catalogue will convince anyone as to the merits of her breeding. Mr. Johnson is offering only two producers, Brookley Curley and her outstanding daughter Brookley’s Creamy, a member of the noted Elf family, full of promise and rich in proven Jersey strains. Remember, there will be only these two from Brookley.
