Mrs. Buggy, Auckland, who hfcp been the guest of Mrs. W. Laing, returned home on Thursday.
Mrs. W. N. Stephenson, New Plymouth, is spending a few days with Mrs. J. N. Stephenson.
Mrs. G. C. Watson, Cambridge, is spending a holiday with her sister-in-law, Mrs. C. H. Marcroft.
Mrs. J. Downey was hostess at bridge on Friday afternoon. At the monthly meeting of the Opunake Plunket Society on Friday, Miss M. Spring, Plunket nurse, tendered her resignation on account of her intention to take a trip abroad. The resignation will not take effect for some weeks.
