POLICE ARMING NAZI TROOPS. ■ By Telegraph—Press Assn.— Copyright Rec. 7 p.m. Berlin, Feb. 16. Police to-day seized all the copito of two evening papers. If the muzzling of the Press proceeds at the preaentrate criticism will be silenced before the elections on March 5. In the meantime the , war against Marxism and Communism i« being conducted with unabated vigour. ' Hers ’ren Papen and Herr .Goehring have appointed Police Commander von Heydekamp as a special commissioner with-.extra-ordinary powers in the Rhineland " and Westphalia. He intends to arm the Nazi storm troops and use them as auxiliary police. This appointment • brings; all police and gendarmes in the Rhineland under the orders of Herr Hitler, .who is determined to crush Communism' in the industrial areas. ■' A Stuttgart message states? that a broadcast of Herr Hitler’s election speech from the Town Hall was suddenly interrupted and not resumed. It was discovered that the wires to the rad'" station had been cut.
