WANGANUI BOY AEROPLANE PILOT. FLIGHT FROM BELL BLOCK TO-DAY. The youngest pilot in New Zealand, Mr. M. King, aged 16, will this morning fly ZK—AAX from the Bell Block aerodrome to Wanganui, where the ’plane will be used by the local aviation pupils. Mr. King came through to New Plymouth by car yesterday and will make the solo flight south to-day should the weather be propitious. Trained by Flying-Officer I. Keith at Wanganui, Mr. King has had 24 hours’ solo flying since he first took control of a machine by himself nine months ago. He is said to show remarkable promise as a pilot. He will be eligible for his passenger license when he is 17.
