TENNIS CLUB REFORMED
TWO COURTS AT MIDHIRST.
At'a recent meeting the Midhirst Tennis Club was resuscitated and the following officers, elected: 'Patron, Mr. A. E Garrard;'president,; Mrs. J. Schumacher; vice-presidents, six were elected; secretary, Mr. D; Latham; management committee, Messrs. Phillips, Jensen,. Howard and Misses R. Griffin, A. Bonniface and C. Copeland. At a meeting on Monday night it was decided, to lay down two courts near thte Midhirst bakery, where the old one is at present. It was resolved that the courts be opened early in the New Year. A donation from Mr. Phillips in, the form of a tennis net was received.
WALTER CUP TENNIS. LADDER MATCH PROGRESS.
