FITZROY CLUB’S BATHS NIGHT
AGGREGATE RACES CONTINUE. The weekly club night of the Fitzroy Surf Club was held at the New Plymouth baths last- night. Aggregate competitions were continued and a polo match was played, A’s versus B’s, in preparation for the opening competition game on Monday night. Details of the races are:— 50 yards, boys: L. Riley (3s) 1, L. Charters (scr.) 2, Len Bennett (Is) 3. 50 yards, men: B. Milne (ss) ■ 1, A. Hall (6s) 2, R. Grace (ss) 3. The A team won the polo practice match by three goals to nil. Mr. S. Bennett refereed. The following teams were selected to train for the polo competitions:—A team: Toomey, W. J. Thomas, Clayton, Plumtree, H. J. Thomas, Campbell, St. George, Milne. - ' B team to be chosen from A. Hall, R. Richards, S. Alsop, F. Harlow, R. Harris, B. Morris, W. Rimmington, R. Grace, J. Elmes, L.. Westwood, Martin and F. Florence.
