TWO BILLS READ SECOND TIME.

Wellington, Last Night.
The National Expenditure Adjustment Bill was read a second .time pro forma in the Legislative Council to-day and referred to the Statutes Revision Committee.
The Wellington City Empowering Bill was read a second time, and the Council rose at 4.15 p.m. until to-morrow.
