EXTENSION OF THE BENEFITS. MEASURE BEFORE PARLIAMENT.. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The objects of the New Zealand Sheepowners’ Acknowledgement of Debt to British Seamen Fund are extended by the Local Legislation Bill to include relief and benefit to dependents of persons who served in Imperial land or air forces during the war. They may be admitted to Flock House for training purposes, and any action in this direction taken by the trustees before the passing of the Bill is held to be legal.
