ST. ANDREW’S ORCHESTRA

SECOM> CONCERT PRESENTED. Tlie second concert of the St. Andrew’s church orchestra was held at New Plymouth last night. There was a good attendance to hear the programme, which consisted of choral and Orchestral works, vocal solos and instrumental items. The programme was as follows: Overture, “Thesee,” orchestra; selections, “It was a Lover and His Lass,” “Farewell, London Town,” “Come, Follow Me,” orchestra and chorus; pianoforte duet, ‘Hungarian Rhapsody,” Mrs. W. J. Shrimpton and Miss E. Ross; selections, “The Last Rose of Summer,” “All Through the night,” orchestra and chorus; song, “Angels Guard Thee,” Mr. F. Baird; selections, “Cornin’ thro’ the Rye,” ‘Oh, Wert Thou in the Cauld Blast,” orchestra and chorus; trio, “Norwegian Dance, No. 1,” Mrs. L. Davies (piano), Mr. E. Nielsen (violin), Mr. L. Davies (’cello); selections, two dances from “Comus,” air from “The Water Music,” selection, dance from “Comus, No. 7”, orchestra; song, ‘On With the Motley,” Mr. F. Baird; selection, “Here’s a Health Unto His Majesty,” “Heart of Oak,” orchestra and chorus; trio, “Norwegian Dance, No. 2,” Mrs. L. Davies, Mr. E. Nielson and Mr. L. Davies; selection, ‘Lightly Row,” At Pierrot’s Door,” ‘Oh, Dem Golden Slippers,” orchestra and chorus; song, ‘One Fleeting Hour,” Mr. W. L.
