LESS PETROL BEING USED
NORTH TARANAKI CONSUMPTION. FIFTEEN PER CENT. DECREASE. That less petrol is being used in North Taranaki than last year is indicated by the petrol tax collected at New Plymouth ‘during the past two years. For the period of seven months ending on Saturday the returns show a decrease of 15 per cent, in comparison with those of the corresponding period last year. July, 1932, showed a decrease of £695 Os 6d and. for the seven months of the year 1931 is £3917 16s 5d ahead of 1932. Details are:—1932 1931
