TARANAKI’S 1932 THIRST
EXCISE DUTY ON BEER TREBLED. COLLECTIONS AT NEW PLYMOUTH. Judging by the excise duties collected at New Plymouth, the province has found 1932 a very thirsty year, for in comparison with last year, the duties have more than trebled. Excise duty in July was £282 18s lid in excess of that for July, 1931, and for the year to date 1932 is £2433 6s Od ahead of 1931. Details are;—!
