SEEKS ADMISSION TO LEAGUE
IRAQ APPLIES THROUGH BRITAIN. British Wireless. Rugby, July 29. A formal request that Iraq should be admitted to tlfe League of Nations has been made by Nuri Pasha al Said, Prime Minister, through the British Foreign Office, and Sir John Simon has asked the Secretary-General to place the request on the agenda of the September. Assembly meeting.
