MR. FORBES AT PALMERSTON.

Visitors to the National Dairy Show to-night were the Prime Minister (the Rt. Hon. G, W, Forbes), the Minister of Education (the Hon. R. Masters, M.L.C.) and the Minister of Agriculture (the Hon. C. E. Macmillan), Mr. Forbes spoke on generalities. He made reference to unemployment and the need for sacrifices to meet the depression, He paid tribute to agricultural research workers. Mr, Forbes declared there was no need for pessimism.
