SUMMONING OF PARLIAMENT

EARLIER SESSION POSSIBLE.

UNEMPLOYMENT FUND RUMOURS.

By Telegraph.—Press Association.

Wellington, Last Night. An indication that Parliament may be called together again before the time intended when the emergency session concluded was given to-day by the prime Minister (the Rt. Hou. G. W. Forbes). In reply to a question Mr. Forbes denied that it was intended to call Parliament together as early as the end of July, but the reduction in the size of the delegation to Ottawa made it possible that Parliament might be summoned some weeks earlier than originally intended if the need should arise, he said. Suggestions arg current that consideration is being given to augmenting unemployment relief moneys from the Consolidated F un d or by. Weans of an internal loan, but Mr. Forbes' gave a negative reply when questioned. He expressed the hope that the fund would be sufficient to meet the demands for relief.
