STEAMERS HURRYING TO RESCUE

Rec. 10.30 p.m. Tokio, April 13. The Taisei Maru, from Hakodate, while proceeding to the northern fisheries was reported to be totally wrecked pear Okihaya. Steamers are hurrying to the rescue. Nine hundred and fifty fishermen were passengers, and it is feared that through rough weather their rescue is doubtful.
