PRINCE RECEIVES HINKLER
FLYING EXPERIENCE RELATED. VISIT OF ARCTIC EXPLORERS. (British Wireless.) Rec. 5.5 p.m. . London, Dee.. 18. Mr. Bert Hinkler was to-day received by the Prince of Wales, to whom he related his experiences on his record-mak-ing flight across the south Atlantic. The Prince also received Messrs. S. Watkins and Augustine Courtauld, Arctic explorers. Messrs. Courtauld and Watkins took with them to York House a number of charts and photographs in which the Prince displayed keeen-inter-est. HINKLER’S FUTURE SERVICES. BRITAIN OR UNITED STATES? Rec. 5.5 p.m. London, Dec. 9. The Daily Herald says Mr. Hinkler is giving Britain a month to make up its mind whether it will employ him; he will then accept a big job n the United States. The Telegraph expresses the opinion that it is probable Mr. Hinkler will be retained by a famous British firm of aero engine manufacturers as a test pilot.
