Results are: — • First Division Handicap:—Final: W. Hull (scr) 1, N. Gray. (Isec) 2; time, Imin 28 l-osec. “ Gold Helmet Scratch Race:—'First heat: T. Lunn 1, N. Gray 2. Gray fell in this heat. The other heats had to be abandoned owing to Lunns having engine trouble. A special match race between Gray and Blacklock a'lso had to be abandoned because Blacklock had engine failure. Big Nine Scratch Race:—N. Gray I, S. Jackson 2, W. Hull 3; time, Imin 24sec. TRACK RECORD AT AUCKLAND. NOTED ENGLISH RIDER INJURED. Auckland, Last Night. The brilliant English rider T. Farndori established a new track record for qiatch events at the Western Springs speedway last night when he won the opening race in Imin I'B 3-ssec. In a later event he and A. Mattson, local champion, collided, and Farndon was injured while his mount was damaged. His second machine was damaged a little later, so he did not appear in the later stages. Results are:— England v. Auckland matches: —'First race: T. Farndon (J.A.'P.) 1, A. Mattson (Rudge) 2; time, Imin 18 3->ssec. Second race: A. Mattson 1, S. Perkins (Rudge) B Grade Handicap: J.
