GERMAN WAR MEMORIAL
COMPETITION AMONG ARTISTS.

The Berlin correspondent of the .Times states' that the National War Memorial Committee has opened a competition for all “artistically active German citizens” for the most suitable design of the memorial which it is proposed to erect in a beautiful piece of secluded woodland near Weimar. The designs must be kept within the simplicity demanded by the needs of the times and dignity of the subject.
