BENGAL RIVERS FLOODED
LOSS OF CROPS AND CATTLE. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 5.5 p.m. Calcutta, Aug. 1. Alarm has been caused by the continued rise of the Braharputra and Jamuna Rivers in Bengal. A tremendous area around Serajgunge and Rajbari have submerged and there is great loss of cattle and rice and jute crops have been ruined. The inhabitants are living in the streets.
