LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL AGAIN ACT SHOOTING OF CAPTIVE BIRDS. By Telegraph,—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night.The Legislative Council met <t 2.30 p,m., when, the amendments made by the House of Representatives in the Unemployment Amendment Bill were agreed to. ' The Wanganui Church Acre Amendment Bill was read, a third time and passed. , Moving the second reading of the Captive Birds Shooting Prohibition Bill, the Ij[on. G, M. Thomson said the Council h»d passed .the Bill on six occasions but it had'not yet been considered by the House. The Bill was read a second time. The Council rose at 3 p.m. until to-morrow.
