ELTHAM RESIDENTS FAREWELLED.

Air. and Airs. C. B. Brock, who arc leaving the district, were given a farewell by the neighbours at the residence of Air. and Airs. H. D. Stauners, Alountain Road, Eltham, on Wednesday evening. Air. Stauners paid tribute to the good qualities as neighbours of the departing guests, and asked them to accept a carpet square as a token of the esteem in which they were held by their friends. In reply Air. Brock thanked the resithem that it had always been a pleasure dents for their kind gift and assured to his wife arid himself to assist their neighbours. Air. A. R. Kemp expressed thanks to the host and hostess for their efforts to make the evening a pleasant one. Cards, competitions, songs and recitations provided full interest for the gathering throughout the evening.
