CLUB SECRETARY CHARGED
MONEY ALLEGED TO BE MISSING.

Napier, Last Night. The secretary of the Port Nicholson Amateur Cycling Club, Harry Munro, aged 30, was charged before Mr. A. M. Mowlem, S.M., at the Napier Magistrate’s Court this morning with having received certain moneys, totalling approximately £5O, on terms requiring him to account for or pay the same and having fraudulently converted them to his own use or fraudulently omitted to account for or pay them as requested, thereby committing theft. Accused was remanded to appear at Wellington on Thursday, bail being fixed in his personal surety of £lOO and one of £lOO or two of £5O each.
