RAHOTU NOTES
HALL COMMITTEE ELECTION. (From Our Own Correspondent.) The annual meeting of thofie interested in the public hall took place at Rahotu on Wednesday. A fair number of householders was present. The bal-ance-sheet showed a credit of £l2, Mr. W. Battler, who had been secretary for a number of years, resigned. The committee placed on record their appreciation of Mr. Buttler's services during his term of office. The following Were elected a committee for the ensuing year: Messrs. H. and T. Yeates, J. McLeod, V. Dawson, &. A. Linforth, W. Waswo and W. C. Greep. At a subsequent meeting Mr. Waswo was elected secretary and Mr. Green chairman. Mr. H. Chqpman, Warea, and formerly of Kahui Road, is a' patient in the hospital. Mr. C. Tyrrell, while playing football last Wednesday, broke his nose. He is in the New Plymouth hospital.
