POLICE COURT CHARGES
SITTING HELD IN NEW PLYMOUTH
The Police Court held a sitting in New Plymouth yesterday, Mr. O. E. Flyger, J.P., presiding. ■ . . Charged with being intoxicated while in charge of a car in Devon Street on Saturday, George L. Coles was remanded until Wednesday. Coles was further charged with a breach of his prohibition order, with driving a car without being the holder of a driver’s license, and with a breach of his probationary license. Bail was allowed in the accused’s own recognisance of £2O and one surety of £2O. John F. Burns was charged with failing to pay moneys due under a maintenance order of the court. He was in arrears to the extent of £3 10s up to August 20 last and owed costs amounting to £1 2s. He also was remanded till Wednesday. No application was made for bail.
