Rough seas and strong southerly galesi prevailed along the East Coast of the South Island during the night. ; , r ; The Maori arrived at 10.30, three and a-half hours late. The sea in Cook Strait was' boiling,-said one passenger. The Raranga and Corin thic, which were due this morning, will not .arrive until this evening.
