In . the cricket match M.C.C. v. Transvaal M.C.C. made 317 (Hendren 75, Chapman 87, including five sixes and eight fours; Leyland 40). Vincent took six wickets for 45. Transvaal in the first innings made 56 for x one wicket. There were 10,000 spectators.
