UNFORTUNATE FARMER’S DEATH.

Gisborne, Last Night. John Francis FLills, a farmer of Rua-tor-ia, aged 45 years, was found dead on the W 7 aikanae beach this afteynopn wiVh a terrible wound ip his clyest and a. shotgun alongside the body. Hills niai tied about two months ago and after a honeymoon went to reside in a house he had built at Ruatorip. About three weeks ago the house and all. the ‘»tontents were destroyed by fire. Hills had not been in good health for some years since his return from the war, and was very depressed after the fire.
