ODDFELLOWS’ LODGE
KAPONGA HALF-YEARLY MEETING. (From Our Own Correspondent). The Kaponga branch of the Loyal Oddfellows’ Lodge held its half-yearly meeting on Monday when N.G. Sister M. Guy presided over an attendance of 30. After the opening of lodge the N.G. extended a hearty welcome to Bro. J. Pearce, a member of the Stratford Lodge who was accorded lodge honours. The election of officers for the ensuing half year resulted: —G.M., Sister M. Guy; N.G., Bro. A. Burt; V.G., Bro. A. Gilbert; elec, secretary, Bro. C. W. N. Rowe; warden, Bro. C. Slater; guardian, Bro. A. Duckett; R.S.N.G., Bro. E. Snowden; L.S.N.G., Bro. C. Harding; R.S.V.G., Bro. E. Young; L.S.V.G., Bro. F. Beresford. The officers were installed by L.M. Bro. W. Marr. P.G. Bro. R. D. Dagg acted as conductor. A* framed emblem is also to be applied for on behalf of P.G. Bro. A. Hey don as he has passed through all the chairs. Application is to be made also for a certificate for a Degree of a P.G. for which he has qualified.
